Here's an article about JD's solo album:
JD's good fortune
(KP International) – Canada's own JD Fortune, who replaced the late Michael Hutchence to become the INXS frontman in 2005, recently talked about his upcoming solo effort.
"It's the best stuff I have ever written," Fortune said, as reported by the Australian Associated Press.
Apparently the concept for the album came to the rocker in a dream where the devil was talking to a man in an elevator as they descended to hell.
Luckily fans don't have to worry that the singer will abandon INXS. "Look at Daniel [Johns] from Silverchair," he said. "He went away and did his own stuff and now they are back. It enriches the whole experience of the band when you come back from that journey."
The dark, uplifting album, Death of a Motivational Speaker, is expected to hit shelves in the fall.
